Out of it

And with that we are out of it. 3rd is beginning to look more realistic.
Negative results since Jan 10th.
Tied Stoke (lost 2 points)
Tied Everton (lost 2 points)
Tied Wigan (lost 2 points)
Tied Man City (lost 2 points)
Lost to Boro (lost 3 points)

11 points down the drain.
We'd be 4 points ahead of SCUM with them having a game in hand.

We beat Real Madrid on Wednesday and lose to bottom Boro on Sat. Fantastic.

Um, is anyone reading any of these posts? Just so I know...

Fergie admits we're challenging for the title

Referring to Chelsea's sacking of Scolari, the purple-faced overlord has finally managed to say something sensible: "I think they have played into our hands and that the title race now is going to be between ourselves and Liverpool."

Brush up on your history

These four sites are well worth checking out:

www.shankly.com
www.bobpaisley.com
www.billyliddell.com

which give plenty of insight into the lives and careers of former managers Shankly and Paisley and legendary player Billy Liddell (basically the Steven Gerrard of his day - the press called the team "Liddellpool")

as well as www.lfchistory.net, which is a mine of information dating back to the club's very beginnings.

I'm going through withdrawals.
Went to Finnegans pub on Queen Mary the other night. The owner told me that it costs a commercial establishment $200 a month to have Setanta. I doubt all bars are paying this amount.
He said that he would be willing to open up for all Liverpool matches next season (regardless of the time) as long as he re-cooped his $200.
3 flat screen tv's, right infront of Snowdon metro, lots of beer on tap, does food.

He's already the home for Celtic supporters.

He's also willing to purchase the international matches but warned that Setanta will charge $20 at the door.
